What is the difference between fleece and sherpa blankets?

The fleece blanket is a little bit thinner, but feels the same on front and back. The sherpa blanket has almost like a sweatshirt type feel to the front of the blanket, and the back is like the inside of a fuzzy slipper. The sherpa blanket also has a blanket stitch all the way around the edge of the blanket, while the fleece blanket does not. The sherpa blanket is thicker, it’s almost like two materials sewn together. So the front (printed area) is smooth fleece and the back is a shaggy, white, fluffy material.
